It's been a long time coming but part 1 of my new dark ambient album "Horrors" is out now. This is the first of four EPs that will precede the full album which is due out in late October. This series of releases is a homage to the horror video game soundtracks I grew up with such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill. This first part is fairly understated, like waking from one nightmare to find that you're still in another while exploring the boundaries of your new situation. Expect a lot of sweeping synth sounds and field recorded samples, this first EP has some of the strangest sounds I've ever recorded on it, from squeezing polystyrene packaging to a mobile phone in an old oven, it's an interesting beginning to the album.
It feels so good to finally get these tracks out there after many of them had sat on the shelf for so long, demos for tracks like Disjointeration having existed since the time I was still working on Frontiers and You Don't Even Remember Me (which was originally used on The Dark Passenger soundtrack way back in 2011) finally getting released for what it was intended for.
I hope you enjoy, the EP is available to stream on all good streaming platforms and available to buy from all good digital retailers but cheapest from the official Synoiz store via Bandcamp. If you like what you hear then please consider giving the release a share on your social media as after this long without a new release, I probably need the attention!
